Casual Friday 76: Kraft On

I couldn't help playing along with the CAS-ual Friday girls for this week challenge. 

 

CFC76: Create a Clean And Simple project using Kraft

It can be a card, tag, layout, etc., as long as it's CAS

 

So here is the card I created

 

 

I got the Paper Smooches stamp set Turkey Jive and I really loved the feather in the set. I wanted to try stamping the back of the stamp then the front over it.  I am very pleased how it turned out.

Halloween Treat box

I have a one more Halloween project to share with you before the big night approaches.  I made this Halloween gift for my son's teacher. I used this tutorial to create the box and lid.  I made mine square vs. a rectangle. I was able to tuck 6 Ghirardelli chocolate squares inside. I used regular adhesive to attach the purple pattern paper strip to the lid but used repositionable tape to secure it to the bottom of the box for easy opening for the recipient.

Halloween Chocolate Bar

 Since I was last minute crafting for Halloween treats because my youngest son's Halloween activities were on Friday I decided to go with a something very simple. And who doesn't love a Hersey's candy bar.  So I wrapped the bar and added a Creepy tag and called it a day.

Halloween Class Treats

I know that around here on it would seem like I totally skipped over the fall holidays but believe me I have been busily crafting some last minute Halloween treats.  Today I will share what I came up with for my youngest preschool class. I made a couple of different version in orange and purple.

Season's Greetings Snowman Style

Happy Friday.  I received an order from Paper Smooches earlier this week and have been wanting to break into them but haven't had any time to do so, until last night.  Since it wasn't much time I thought I would keep it simple.  I really love this snowman and he and his snowman buddies are sure to make more appearances on the blog in the coming months I'm sure.

This morning I have a card to share that I started while I was at this crafting retreat.  One of the things I was most excited about going to Craftaway Studio was her collection of Papertrey ink stamps. She had a couple of the Year of Flower stamps sets that I have been wanting to play with but was not ready to bite the bullet and purchase them.  So I took the opportunity and stamped some images to make cards later once I returned home. Well I have finally been able to get back to them. What took so long to finish was trying to figure out what sentiment I had in my collection that would pair well with the image.  I finally settled on the Fillable Frames #7 set.

Mistletoe Monday: Merry Christmas
