Mistletoe Monday: Merry Christmas

Today I'm back with a Mistletoe Monday post.  For those you may have forgotten (I could see how it could happen since it has been a while since I have posted one so no hard feelings) I like to post a Christmas project on Mondays to prepare for the holiday craft fair season.

So without much fanfare here is the Christmas card for today.

Mistletoe Monday: Let it Snow

Today I'm back with a Mistletoe Monday post.  If you are new to the blog or have forgotten since it has been a while since I did one, let me explain. I try to make a Christmas card or Christmas item every week to prepare for the holiday craft fair season and post it on Monday which I have dubbed Mistletoe Monday, which I think is way better than Crap, I hate Monday's (which I kinda how I feel, but moving on). I figured if I do it year round there won't be a rush in October, best laid plans anyways.

Today's card makes me so happy because I used the store bought tag  (Target) that were on our Christmas gifts last year. I love that I was able to get two uses out of it. I also did the same thing on this card from last year

Here is a close up.

Mistletoe Monday: Season's Greetings

Happy Monday! Here on Sunny with a Chance of Crafting I do a series called Mistletoe Monday's where I feature Christmas cards and projects. I like to spread out the preparations over the course of the year so that it is not so crazy during the holiday seasons.

Today I have a Christmas card that would be easy for mass production and would mail great.

Here is a close up of the greeting.

Mistletoe Monday: Christmas Bells are ringing

Ok, I must admit I am in love with Papertrey Ink stamps.  I am glued to Nichole Heady's blog from the 5th to the 15th of every month for the countdown to their release. The cards the Papertrey Ink design team creates are amazing. Durning the countdowns there are always a couple of cards that as soon as a get the stamps I want to try and recreate for myself.  I have one today.  When they released Bells and Bough I saw this card (it is the second one in this post) that Maile Belles made, my heart skipped a beat. Now that I finally own this set the first card I wanted to do was that one. Here is my card.

Mistletoe Monday: Felt Christmas ornaments

Happy Monday to you!  Here on Sunny with a Chance of Crafting I like to share Christmas crafts and ideas in a series I do called Mistletoe Mondays. Today for Mistletoe Monday I am sharing some felt ornaments I made last year.  Next Monday I will post a tutorial on how to make these cute little guys.

Who doesn't love a candy cane for the holidays with no calories?

And a little snow covered house with a layer with a red door.

These make great gifts for teacher and friends.  Here is how I packaged up one for a Secret Santa exchange at the office.  Or they make a nice addition to your own tree.

Mistletoe Monday: Wine Tag

I have decided to add a weekly series here at Sunny with a chance named "Mistletoe Monday's" As I hinted at last week I like to craft for Christmas year long so that I am ready for the holiday season.  So on Mondays I will be sharing Christmas projects from cards, tags to even handmade gifts.  So if you are looking for a little holiday inspiration stop in on Mondays.

To start things off I have a wine tag I made for my neighbors/ co-worker gift. Of course the bottle will not make it till next Christmas. The glittery snowman is actually I store bought (Target) tag.  This actually was one that was used. I love it when you can reuse the pretty tags.  I have a bunch so I'm sure you are going to see Mr. Snowman pop up in other projects.

Here is Mr. Snowman's close up.
