A Happy Birthday Wreath

Ok so I received my latest Papertrey Ink order and in it was the Wreath for All Seasons stamp set.  I couldn't wait to play with it, so it was the first set to get inked up.  Here is the card I made with it. This is also the first card that I have sewed on that looks good enough to share. My previous practice cards were a hot mess and ended up in the trash. Since I was happy with how this turned out I think I will be doing it more.

Here is a close up of the details.

  2. once i started sewing on cards and scrapbook pages, i just couldn't stop and now i sew on almost everything! i have found that keeping my stitch length a little longer than i would for fabric and keeping a sharp needle just for paper have been very helpful. your card is lovely...a wreath for all seasons is one of my most used stamp sets. i love it and use it over and over again.

  4. This is a lovely card with its soft colors. I like how you threaded the ribbon. I haven't tried sewing on cards yet, which is kind of funny considering that I used to sew all of the time. I think that I'm just afraid of either screwing up my sewing machine or ruining a perfectly good card. Guess I just need to take your cue and practice!
