Today I have a card that I put together very quickly. Last weekend we had two soccer games and a birthday party so I needed a girl birthday card fast. Since the little girl is really into princesses I thought the princess in the PTI Tiny Treats birthday set would be perfect. (And how often am I going to be able to use it since I have to boys)
I colored the image using color pencils. Here is a close up.
Okay I picked up a few of Paper Smooches sets while on vacation. I just love the Birthday Buddies set. When I saw this week's Case Study challenge (pictured below created by Laura Bassen) I knew I could create a fun set of birthday cards that would work great for girls or boys. You can never have enough of those types of card in your stash.
(Sorry I just looked at the photos I took over the weekend and noticed that the focus is way off, but since I'm not able to take new photos this will have to do)
All the little birthday buddies were colored with color pencils.

Now that the temperatures are getting warmer here I wasn't really in a mood to make a Christmas card over the weekend. But not to worry, I was inspired to create. So I do have some cards to share this week. This first one I am really pleased with since pieces of it have been sitting on my desk for a couple of months. I could not figure out how to finish it off. It started out life as a weeding card but has ended up as a springy thank you card.
Ok as promised I have a thank you card to share today using some of the new Paper Smooches stamps I picked up while on vacation. I just love a big sentiments and that little monster. I'm sure you are going to see him pop up on birthday cards here on Sunny with a Chance in the future.
Hello all, sorry it has been quiet here at Sunny with a Chance for the last couple of weeks. The kids were on Spring Break so we took the chance to hit the open road and head for warmer temps. We visited family in Arizona and enjoyed the sunny weather for sure. I was able to check out a local stamp store, Stamp Works in Chandler. I wish I had some pictures but sadly I do not. It was a quick stop. This place is so cute and packed with all kinds of stamps. I picked up some stamp sets from Paper Smooches. So I will have some cards to share this week using some of my new goodies so stay tuned. The posts will be hit and miss this week since we are currently buried by an avalanche of laundry.
Hello everyone, happy Friday! I 'm so happy that the weekend is almost here. Today's card was a delight to make. I happened to have some scraps of paper on my desk and the PTI Tiny treats: Birthday stamp set out too and I saw they were a perfect match, I LOVE when that happens.
Here is a close up.

Today I have another cute little critter card. After doing the birthday card with the party hats I started to look at my stamps set to see what other hats I could put on a little critter. This time I use the owl for a graduation card by putting a cap on him.
Here is a close up. Again I used color pencils to color him in.
