Today I have an Easter card to share. I really like the eggs in this set but man, it is hard to line up the outline after you stamp the inside of the egg but I figure it add to the whimsiness of the card. I really like this set and one of the best things about it is the butterfly. I have wanted to do a butterfly in flight (bend up his wing) for a long time on a card.
Here is a close up the butterfly.
Happy Easter Card

Love the eggs - - no one notices imperfections but you...so don't point them out! If our cards looked absolutely perfect, no one would know we made them ;)
ReplyDeleteI love how you lined up the eggs...they look great. It is so easy to find our own imperfections but I first saw the lovely color and that darling fillable frame peeking out! Great job!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Love the colors, the adorable eggs, and the happy butterfly!
ReplyDeleteso pretty, love the colours you used on the sweet eggs
ReplyDeletei love your card...misplaced outlines and all. you seem to have a real gift for putting together cheerful and lovely colour combinations. my egg hunt set just arrived today (i haven't even opened the box yet) but i can't wait to play!
ReplyDeleteLove the way you used the fillable frame! What a neat idea! The colors are so springy!!! Makes a drab day bright!
ReplyDeleteTricia this is such a pretty Easter card.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a happy card. I love it!
ReplyDeleteYou know how to put such cheerful colors together so well, Tricia. The butterfly's dotted trail looks like a little touch of happiness mixed in the flowers. Instead of pointing out the quirkiness of the eggs, you should have had everyone look at how well you placed the frame.
