Flower Birthday

Today I have a card I put together with an effort to use what I have.  It's January and I want to reduce the size of the stash, craft stash. I have accumulated lots of paper over the past 10 years of crafting but as many who enjoy this hobby can tell you- no matter how much paper you have there isn't a single piece of paper that is right for this card.....I need to get something different.

I starting by creating the focal point then searched high and low through my paper stash for something that would work. I found something that had the right feel but wasn't the right color.  So I decided to pull out my polka dots out to stamp on top in the right color.  I was thrilled on how it turned out and I'm sure I saved myself a ton of money.

Here you can see the papttern paper I chose with the dots on top.

Happy Birthday Card
STAMPS: PTI Botanical Sillouettes, PTI Polka Dot Basics II
PAPER: CTMH Pattern Paper
