Thanks Coach

So Z's last soccer game of the spring season was last weekend and the team party is schedule for today.  I volunteered to make a Thank you card for the coach.  So I stayed up the night before the party whipping one up. At least it wasn't the hour before the party like last season. And I have decided I really need to invest in Papertrey Ink's All Star Team Additions stamp set to expand the possibilities before the next soccer season.

Here is a look at the inside.

All Star Team Card
Supplies
STAMPS: PTI All Star Team and PTI Star Prints
PAPER: CTMH Card Stock
OTHER: Spellbinder Dies

This season we ended up with purple jerseys, so when you are in Cowtown with purple for your team color, it's a given your team name will be the Horn Frogs. We had a great season, winning all but two games and the kids have a ton of fun.  Go Frogs!

  3. Since you work with digital, you should download an image for next year. There are sites with free graphics where I'm sure you could find something that works. Not that you shouldn't buy another stamp set!
I like the way you used the sentiment to make your patterned pattern. Great choice in sentiment, too.
PS - I had to look up why the Horn Frogs and Cowtown go together. Can you tell I'm not from Texas?

  5. Oh nooooooo!! The horned frogs....just looked it up that you're from Texas....so that's a TCU reference! It is, isn't it? I'm in Boise...and a Boise State season ticket holder.....my husband graduated from there. So by default, I can't like you anymore :( LOL! I did think purple was a bit odd for a coach (male) card. But now it allll makes sense. I bought the All Star sets too...and it's great for the coach card...and when it's our turn for snacks I'll add a topper to the bag or something. It is a set for sure that I get mileage out of - more than I originally thought!
